Hey, hey writers!

Thank you for stopping by and for your interest in publishing with us. Hey Hey Books is currently OPEN to general submissions. However, we have multiple anthologies that are open. Please take a look! We accept authors with or without an agent anywhere in the US. We are looking for a wide verity of genres aimed for either young adult, new adult, or adult readers. Through our team of editors, designers, and marketers, we aim to bring your book to readers.

Please make sure your manuscript uses Times New Roman and 12-point font. If you are submitting a poetry book, check that the spacing is single-spaced and between ~6,000 and ~12,000 words. For all other genres, the word count should be between ~20,000 and ~100,000 words and double-spaced.

We are not currently interested in:

• Nonfiction
• Graphic Novels
• Horror
• Children’s Books
• Middle Grade
• Politics
• Erotica (light amount is okay)

If you believe your book fits within our guidelines, please submit the first fifty pages as an attachment to our email and include a query letter in a separate document.

Your query letter must include your name, the title of your book, genre(s), comparable title(s), and total word count. Please also provide a brief summary of your main character and plot. If you have any past publications or writing experience/education, include that as well as any social media accounts you plan to use to spread the word about your book.
